Alexander TechniqueThe F. M. Alexander Technique enables postural fluidity and ease of movement in everyday life: walking, carrying your child, working at the computer, climbing stairs, dancing, playing sports, playing a musical instrument... These movements, which are often automatic, can lead to muscular and joint pain, such as backache, neck stiffness, knee pain, and even a sense of heaviness and fatigue throughout the body. Attentive to your needs, the Alexander practitioner guides you, through touch and words, on a journey of relearning movement. You'll learn to recognize and transform your habits of posture, movement and thought. During Alexander Technique lessons, you'll discover a new way of moving and being, with pleasure and energy savings. |
